Your key responsibilities will include: P & L, negotiation with buyers, buying managers, product selection, identifying buying opportunities, price negotiation, new product introduction, analysis and reporting, strategic sales growth and full national account management duties. n exciting opportunity for a Senior National Account Manager within a Northern/Midlands based food and drink manufacturer with the responsibility of the Asda and Morrisons Accounts with Private Label products. Our client is a category leader within the food sector. They have an innovative approach to developing their category across Private Label products. A new role has arisen to manage the Asda and Morrisons Accounts with a team reporting in. You will implement the agreed sales and marketing strategy, execute the category plan and ensure that the business unit has first class management and succession planning in place to underpin future account growth. You will have significant experience within a professional food manufacturing business predominantly gained within an own label and branded food environment and have had significant exposure to one of the top 4 accounts. You will have a commercially strategic mindset and be able to develop partnerships and deliver profit. Your character will demonstrate drive and determination with an honest and open attitude. You will posses natural leadership skills together with the ability to be part of the team and interact with personnel at all levels across the business.
